First time at Pete's yesterday and definitely won't be my last. I called first to see if they had a particular item. I spoke to Eddie. I arrived at the restaurant an hour later and he remembered my call from earlier. He pleasantly polite, gracious and exemplary customer service!! My thin crust SOB Pizza and Italian Beef Egg Rolls were amazing! See you guys soon!!
Great spot, open kinda late and they have and fresh slices of pizza ready to go. Worth a little extra time to have it warmed up just just the right temp in the pizza oven. Overall, highly recommended if you are passing through the area and need a late-nite slice of quality .
Went around 2pm on a Saturday. Very chill vibe, enjoyed the thin crust pepperoni pizza, wide enough that it made two meals. Two pieces of pizza with a can soda each rounded out about 14. I thought it was fair pricing, the staff were very kind.
We had slice cheese pizza which was okay. The size was perfect for dinner. We also had chicken calzones which was really good, specially the marinara sauce. Cheese fries was okay. Service was great too. Food is worth the money and it’s cheaper too.
As an east coaster, I don't know if I'll ever fully come around to either style of Chicago pizza, but Pete's does both great. It's not common to find deep dish by the slice like Pete's does.

UPDATE: Sarah, one of the lovely employees, was actually not working that day (she had a day off), but she still went and got a cup for the fountain water. This place definitely earns five stars. I've been here a few times already. Everything is delicious, and their specials are so filling and good! Today Eddy was there again with stellar customer service. Loved it. Even though I live close by, I had never been here because I assumed that the menu, etc. was oriented primarily towards the college students that frequent the neighborhood restaurants. However, yesterday I ventured in, not expecting too much, and was pleasantly surprised: Eddy welcomed me graciously and was a super professional server, the place was clean, and the deluxe Italian beef sandwich, which came with fries and coleslaw, was delicious. Prices are very fair, and they have daily specials, which I definitely intend to try. One small thing: The music was great, but a little too loud for my taste. Other than that, five stars.
Had a great time here. Came with a large group and service was fast and excellent. Pizza is great, both the thin crust and the stuffed, and they have slices as big as your head. What more could you want!?
